Sivestar Indian Tacos is not just a restaurant, it's a fusion of cultures and flavors that brings the best of Indian cuisine to a Mexican style. After a rich culinary journey that started in India and led to the USA, our founder, with a passion for both Indian and Mexican cuisines, crafted a unique concept to bring these flavors together under one roof.

With formal training in culinary arts in India and hands-on experience from working on cruise lines, our founder first ventured into the food industry by opening Chola Indian Restaurant in 2006, which served authentic Indian cuisine until 2011. After a decade-long journey in the food industry with Asiana Indian Cuisine, the business took on a fresh creative direction.

In 2022, after handing over Asiana Indian Cuisine, we embarked on a new culinary adventure with Sivestar Indian Tacos. This new venture is inspired by our desire to create something different - Indian food in a Mexican style. With a deep-rooted love for authentic Indian spices, we reimagined tacos, burritos, and other Mexican favorites using vibrant Indian flavors.

The name Sivestar is close to our hearts, as it combines 'Sive', inspired by the names of our children, and the 'star' to signify our Texas roots. At Sivestar, you will find food that feels familiar yet distinct, with a rich heritage and flavors crafted to offer a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
